Steve has the Kazuma, but his car isn't a daily driver. For those that came to the meet Saturday, know that there is only one word to describe the sound, LOUD. ---------- TC-77 ICQ 286447331 Profile
hehehe, yeah, thats what everyone says, does it sound like a mustang cobra with a straight pipe?, i dont drive my gt everyday, i just drive it to school 2 days a week
celicagt_8402, our cars will never be as loud as a cobra GT. There is more than exhaust to the sound of a car. The flow from the 5.0 is much greater than our little 4banger engines. The sound from a 5L is much deeper and denser than our cars with a kazuma exhaust.
kazuma is basically a straight pipe... you will lose low-mid range torque due to the low back pressure.. but once you're up in powerband you will be gaining hp due to the freeflow.
it's ideal for race track.. but if you drive the car around city a lot, and if you get pulled over if they see that you are running a straight pipe with no cat/muffler, you will be ticketed regardless of the loudness. ----------
Will a car with no cat pass aircare? I'm not from Vancouver, so I don't really know anything about it, but I would think that without a cat, the emissions are pretty bad?
damn makes me think twice about getting one now....thx for the info alex... :) ---------- 03 CELICA GT-S TRD EDITION TC-14 ICQ#42638407 TEAM CELICA VANCOUVER
