i think some other guy in NC is doing it as well he posted pics of the hinge
but i think that mod is just ricey
and i'm pretty sure there will be lots of problems after a while
like door not closing properly, leaks, not opening properly, mechanical problems with the hinge etc etc

I read about it on newcelica.org. He says that he is sponsored by the shop, so it only cost him $600(US of course).
"The kit is $1599.00 or you can go to www.autosportz.com and buy it from them at $1499.00
There are also group buy rates as well."

i think that looks pretty good
it's interesting and unique for the celica

and like alex said, i checked around vancouver awhile ago for doing this and the price was 8000+ cdn to get it done........at the time there was no kits available to do this, it would have been for the most part custom work
but even with the kit that is available now (i think it's been released anyways), it's not a worthwhile mod unless ur rich and have tons of money to blow away
cuz it will still be very expensive to have it installed

and every shop i went to said that if this were done, the car would have to become a purely show car
the amount of leaks and problems that would be encountered with a daily driver would be enormous
our windows are frameless as well which is a difficulty with doing this

when was that car done? i mean like.. when did it get the lambo doors? cuz we have one here in winnipeg. its a yellow celiga gt owned by the deguzman twins (personal buddies of my bro) and mmmmm mmm damn i love their car. they've won every single car show they've ever been in, so wut i've heard from my bro, i could ask one of them later, but for now i have to get back to watching power point presentations. so yah, wut year were the doors installed?
